Don’t Tell Your Mother
Monthly indie-pop LGBT+ friends night. Hang out at the popular bar, dance your socks off, or relax out on the terrace. Comes into its own in the Summer months, when the bustling friendly vibe extends into the yard.

ESDR / Eat Sleep Drag Repeat
Catch the best of the Drag Scene, with this Ru Paul-inspired night at Queenshilling. LGBT+ friends welcome.

Queer house, disco & art take centre stage with Horseplay, a creative, popular night that roams across the city. Although open to all, the night proves most popular with Gay men and their friends.

Bristol is home to the biggest LBT+ Girls’ Night outside London. Hush descends on the Queenshilling every quarter for a hugely popular night for LBT+ girls & their friends. Flirty, friendly pop night pulls visitors from all over the country.
Monthly social, cultural & networking events for LBT+ women. Catch the UK’s best in Comedy, Books & Music, with these monthly socials held in the elegant surrounds of The Square Club in Bristol. Renowned for it’s friendly atmosphere & welcoming hosts, Indigo attracts around 100 guests to each event, solos welcome.

Clubs and Bars
West End Area
Bristol’s oldest & friendliest Gar club and bar. Mixed, friendly atmosphere & home to popular nights including Hush & ESDR. Drop by for warm-up drinks, or party the night away in safe, fun, friendly surrounds.
Bristol’s biggest LGBT+ club. Popular with the younger and student crowds. Expect dance, house & chart tunes. Busy at weekends.
Bustling, bright, loud, party-bar, popular with students. Bent is the official feeder bar for OMG, start your night here before heading for your night out on Frogmore St.
Old Market Area
Relaxed, smart, gay-owned, gay-friendly pub situated at the entrance to Old Market, just a stones throw from Cabot Circus. The Phoenix stocks a good range of drinks and is a great place to kick back for an evening with friends. In the summer the large terrace comes alive at weekends.
Bristol Bear Bar
Bristol’s home of the bears! Compact & friendly bar, popular with bears, cubs, otters & their friends. Decked out in classic cinema shots & well worth a visit for its unique atmosphere. Comes alive on specialist nights including BearPit & the infamous Bear Fiesta.
The Gin Palace
Infamous for its wonky floors, retro-chic decor & regular cabaret, The Gin Palace is one of Bristol’s oldest LGBT+ venues. If you’ve a fondness for drag, a penchant for camp or a sense of fun The Gin Palace is a must-see. Mixed & older crowds mingle with the younger LGBT+ scene.
