A group show by Bristol Creatives Gold Members has been developed and will showcase the work of local artists at Bristol’s Tourist Information Centre through to July. The exhibition is part of Bristol Tourist Information Centre's scheme to promote and sell artwork created by Bristol artists to visitors.
The exhibition, which has a loose Bristol theme, shows a diverse range of artwork including prints, photographs, ceramics, jewellery and textiles produced by some of Bristol's up and coming artists and designer makers. The exhibition takes place from Friday, 29 April through Monday 18 July with a special preview night taking place on Thursday 28 April from 6 to 8pm.
Bristol Creatives is a networking and marketing initiative for creative people in the city. The organisation currently have over 1800+ registered subscribers, coordinate monthly networking events and send out monthly e-bulletins. Their website www.bristolcreatives.co.uk is full of information, opportunities and events and exhibitions aimed at visual and applied artists and people interested in the arts.
Bristol Creatives is a Bristol Spaceworks Project. www.bristolspaceworks.co.uk is a not-for-profit social enterprise supporting enterprise and economic regeneration in some of Bristol's most deprived neighbourhoods.

Bristol Tourist Information Centre is located at E Shed, 1 Canons Road next to Watershed. The Tourist Information Centre provides visitors with activity planning assistance and much more but is also a great place for local people to shop and request information about local activities and events.
Tourist Information Centre Manager, Deborah Germaine said, “We are excited to showcase local Bristol artists to those visiting the city. Bristol’s arts scene is a major draw for visitors so now we can provide visitors with a unique piece of Bristol to remember”
Sally Reay, Bristol Creatives Project Manager, explains: "This is an exciting opportunity for our members and we hope to put on a second exhibition showcasing new work later in the year too".
