The newly refurbished Brooks Guest House Bristol is a boutique guesthouse, the most contemporary in central Bristol. We are situated smack bang in the heart of Bristol's old town next to St Nicholas Market - an exciting place to start exploring whether visiting for business or pleasure.

The guest house is within walking distance of the city centre shopping area offering quirky independent shops and big high street names, as well as many cafes and restaurants. It is a very short stroll to the vibrant Harbourside area with its many family attractions and arts centres, and also convenient for all theatres and concert halls, including Bristol Old Vic, Bristol Hippodrome and Colston Hall.

Brooks Guest House is also very close to the business and financial centres, convenient for many of the city’s conference and training centres. It is ideal for those in the city on business as it is just a 10 – 15 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station, or a very short taxi ride.

Our luxury compact rooms give a choice of double, king, twin and triple bedrooms - all serviced daily. Every bathroom has floor to ceiling travertine tiles and demisted mirrors, electric shaver points, hangsgrohe power showers, heated towel rails and luxurious White Company toiletries. All our bedrooms include: John Lewis pocket sprung mattress beds, retro chairs, crisp white linen, wooden chest, honesty bar goodies, flat screen TV with DVD, digital clock radio, iPod dock player and free WiFi, Cole & Son Wallpaper & Avoca blankets A guest lift is also available.

Our bright open breakfast room & guest lounge is a contemporary salon of tables, sofas and comfy armchairs complete with lazy-day diversions - from books to magazines, board games to DVDs. Free Wi Fi and guest laptop is also available. The Honesty Bar next to the lounge on the ground floor is the perfect place to relax, meet friends or work on your laptop, or relax in our urban haven courtyard garden.

From M32 head Southwest onto A4032 signposted Bristol City Centre, slight Left onto Bond Street A4044 carry on to Temple Circus Gyratory, take the third exit onto Victoria Street. Carry on Victoria Street over the bridge get into right hand lane, then take second left over the bridge onto St Nicholas Street by St Nicholas Church. The hotel is on the right hand side by the entrance to the Market. We are situated next to Source Food Hall on Exchange Avenue.

From Bath follow signs to Bristol City Centre on A4 you will pass Temple Mead Train Station on your right hand side at the next roundabout take first exit onto Victoria Street. Carry on Victoria Street over the bridge get into right hand lane, then take second left over the bridge onto St Nicholas Street by St Nicholas Church. The hotel is on the right hand side by the entrance to the Market we are situated next to Source Food Hall on Exchange Avenue.

Public Transport Directions

From Temple Mead Station come out take a right onto Temple Gate cross over Temple Gyratory system on to Victoria Street (this is the 2nd exit). Stay on Victoria Street which leads onto High Street for approx. 5 mins. Cross over the river, take second left after the Bridge onto St Nicholas Street by the church. Hotel entrance is 200 metres on the right hand side by the entrance to St Nicholas Market, we are right next door to the Source Food Hall, approx 10-15 mins.

From Bristol Coach/Bus Station come out and head south on Whiston Street toward Earl Street turn left at lower Maudlin Street, Turn right at Bridewell Street, A38 continue onto All Saints Road, Turn right at Pithay, Turn right onto Wine Street, continue onto High Street take right onto St Nicholas street by the church, hotel entrance is 200 metres on the right hand side next to the Source Food Hall or enter St Nicholas Market on the High Street and we are at the bottom of the market opposite the food stalls on Exchange Avenue.
