Centrally located, St George’s Bristol hosts a variety of events all year round. Our 562 capacity venue hosts concerts, conferences and celebratory events. In addition to the main hall, we have two backstage dressing rooms and meeting/break-out rooms which can accommodate small meetings through to 250 capacity functions. The lower level seating of the main hall can be completely removed which provides maximum versatility. There is full disabled access throughout in the form of two external platform lifts and one internal lift. There is also a car park that backs onto the venue that can accommodate up to 16 vehicles.

Being predominantly a music venue, there are many features which make a conference or celebratory event here completely unique. Large arched windows run the length of the venue which allows light to flood in. Alternatively, we have blinds on each of these windows so can block out any light depending on the requirements for an event. There is a large 10m wide x 7m deep x 1.5m high stage with the option of a stage extension that can add another 2m onto the depth. There are also two Steinway pianos available to hire. Other equipment available in-house includes a 10ft x 7.5ft screen and rear projector. There are also a selection of roaming, static and lapel microphones, a lectern, two large speakers and a DVD player available. The stage lights are flexible and can light the stage either white or with a colour wash. There is an additional smaller screen and projector which is ideal for events in our meeting rooms.

St George’s Bristol is a truly beautiful space that retains many of its distinctive period features and which sits within a series of lovingly maintained gardens which is a rare find in a City Centre venue. These grounds compliment the venue perfectly and can accommodate marquees plus a host of other activities.
