University of the West of England
Conveniently situated on the outskirts of the city, the University of the West of England offers a 4000 sq m Exhibition and Conference Centre (ECC) with its own dedicated entrance and 450 space car park. There is also a range of meeting/conference facilities which are located on the main Frenchay campus. Excellent public transport facilities are available, linking the ECC and campus to the busy cosmopolitan city centre.
Minutes away from the M4, M5 and M32 motorways, and Bristol Parkway Railway Station, the ECC is an ideal base from which to explore the West Country. The University offers a range of facilities for conferences, corporate meetings, presentations, seminars, workshops, training days and exhibitions. Private functions including weddings, dinner dances, banquets, receptions and BBQs can also be catered for.
Visitors can also enjoy a brand-new state of the art sports facility incorporating courts for a wide range of sports and activities and including a high quality gymnasium and physiotherapy suite. The University's teaching rooms and conference/exhibition facilities are available during the Easter, Summer and Christmas Vacations and some evenings and weekends.
