Rockfish cookery school
Come and spend a day at Mitch Tonks’ RockFish Grill & Seafood Market with our experienced chef and fishmonger, Neil Roach, who has been teaching and cooking seafood for a number of years alongside Mitch.
Through a combination of demonstration and hands on practical Neil will take you through the basics on recognising and buying the best fresh fish; how to choose what you need for any type of meal from family suppers to celebration meals; the tricks of the trade, simplifying buying and cooking whilst producing really inspiring results. All the dishes created on the day will be based on the season. We have top quality fish delivered in every day to the RockFish Grill & Seafood Market.
It’s a relaxing day because you can choose how much you want to do, you can put your apron on and get stuck in or you can sit back, watch, chat and learn or somewhere between, whatever suits you. If it’s a team building day you’re after then we can design the day around your needs, a great way to improve working relationships. Whatever way you choose to learn we promise to be knowledgeable, encouraging, informative and fun and we’re pretty confident that you’ll go away having had a great day and wanting to cook and eat more great fish and shellfish.
