Private Rooms

Our Private Rooms are situated on our Mezzanine Floor, with contemporary décor, natural daylight and air conditioning.

River Room 1 will host up to 30 people for a wedding breakfast and upto 30 for a ceremony. The room has large windows and panoramic views of the river.

River Room 2 will host up to 30 for a wedding breakfast and upto 30 for a ceremony, with delightful views across the river.

River Rooms 1 and 2 combined will host up to 70 people seated for a wedding breakfast and 60 maximum for a ceremony.

Mezzanine Gallery - our Mezzanine is an alternative venue for your wedding breakfast. This area is very contemporary with picturesque views across the river, for those looking for something different.

This area can accommodate 70 people for a wedding breakfast, with a maximum of 80 people buffet style.

The Mezzanine will exclusively be yours for the duration, much the same as if you were dining in a private room, but with a light open atmosphere.

A room will be provided for the registrar.

Note: There will be a hire charge of £200.00 for the duration of your event.

Menus

Please note that whatever dishes you decide upon, must be served to all guests other than those with special dietary requirements.

Children under 12 eat half price, with children under 4 eating free of charge.

All our menus include complimentary tea and coffee to round off your meal.

Please note that prices are only guaranteed once a full deposit is received.

Drinks

We do not offer inclusive drink packages, but again, we can cater to your own needs. Please note that bar prices are subject to change and wine prices are only guaranteed once a full deposit has been paid.

No Corkage is offered.

Table Set Up

Crisp white table linen is provided, including napkins, but only in white. We can advise you of florists for table centres. The layout will in part depend on numbers attending; this will be discussed with the bride and groom.

Printing

We are happy to provide simple menus and a table plan for your day, but do ask that you provide your own place cards.

Cake Knife

Will be available, but please provide your own stand.

Toast Master

Our Manager on Duty will be delighted to act as Toastmaster for your Celebration.

Entertainment

We do not have an entertainment's licence, and are therefore unable to host discos or any other forms of entertainment, other than background music, by prior arrangement with the hotel.

Confetti

Confetti may be thrown on the riverside, but not within the Hotel.

Parking

The Hotel is adjacent to the NCP car park on Queen Charlotte Street. Normal NCP charges will apply.

Accommodation

We have 116 contemporary bedrooms, including 1 Riverview Suite. All bedrooms have air conditioning, wooden floors, variable mood lighting, separate bath and power shower, bathrobes and even a plasma TV in the bathroom, so you can watch TV whilst enjoying a relaxing bath.

All Superior rooms have wonderful panoramic views.

Our accommodation rates for Monday to Thursday exclude breakfast.

Full West Country Breakfast is £13.00 per person, and Continental Breakfast is £9.75.

Our rates for Friday to Sunday do include full West Country Breakfast.

Why not treat yourself and upgrade to a luxury package for the evening, this will include Champagne and Chocolates in your room for an extra £35.00.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - WEDDINGS

1. A deposit of £15.00 per person is required when you confirm your booking.

2. Full payment is required at least 3 weeks prior to the event.

3. Final numbers, table plan and arrangements are to be finalised no later than
2 weeks before the event.

4. Cancellations:

3 weeks notice or less - 100% of the total charge
Over 3 weeks - Loss of deposit

5. Once confirmation and a deposit has been paid, we will hold food, wine and accommodation prices. Bar prices will be subject to review.

6. VAT is included at the prevailing rate, currently 17.5%.

7. Prices are correct at going to print, but until a deposit and confirmation is received we reserve the right to change without notice.

8. The registrar must be booked and organized by the bride and groom.
