A high quality, four star hostel providing a relaxed oasis in the heart of Bristol. This friendly, vibrant and culturally rich and diverse city, boasts many world famous attractions.

A great city centre location makes this a perfect base. Explore the harbour side and old city areas, and visit the magnificent Avon Gorge, Brunel’s suspension bridge or enjoy Bristol’s cultural base of theatres, museums, art galleries and thriving live music, street art and club scene. A former waterfront grain house, this hostel has been sympathetically restored to offer relaxed cosmopolitan surroundings.

The Hostel has two Conference rooms available – The larger will hold up to 60 people and the smaller up to 20, both rooms are equipped with Digital Projectors, Screens, P.A equipment, DVD and VCR players, Flip charts, and OHP. They can be hired for a full day, half day or evening session. They also offer a range of meal options, hot & cold buffets , working lunches and tea & coffee.

YHA is a charity aiming to inspire all, especially young people, to broaden their horizons, gaining knowledge and independence through new experiences of adventure and discovery. In support of this aim, YHA is a membership organization and all prices quoted on this website are member’s rates. A non-member supplement equivalent to GBP 3.00 per person per night will be charged on arrival for those guests not in possession of a valid YHA (England & Wales) Ltd or equivalent IYHF/ Hostelling International membership card. ***

Public Transport Directions

From Bristol Temple Meads - 1 km By foot: follow information signs from Bristol Temple Meads station. By bus: number 8 or 9 to Bristol Hippodrome and then a five minute walk following signs to the hostel.
