Tiny tea party treats for Children at the Grand Pier

16th May 2017

Categories: Latest News

A special series of events especially for children has been planned at top South West attraction The Grand Pier, Weston-super-Mare.

Children across the region are being invited to experience the magic of a Tiny Tea Party at the seaside venue, with several dates and themes available.

The events will all feature a disco, party games and party food in the Regency Suite as well as a one-hour session in the Adventure Cove soft play area, and a special gift.

The Grand Pier, Weston-super-Mare, events coordinator, Charlotte Gaylard, said: “We have planned a series of special tea party events aimed at children for 2017. Each date has a different theme from a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party to a Pirate Takeover, so we’re sure there will be something to capture the imagination of your little one.

“Coming to the seaside, and to the Grand Pier especially, is always a special occasion for children so we wanted to come up with something to make the day even more memorable.

“These events will be a great addition to your family day out to Weston-super-Mare, or could be an exciting idea for a birthday party or special occasion.

“The first in the series is the Teddy Bears’ Picnic on Sunday 28 May. Children will enjoy a disco and party games before setting out their picnic blankets ready for a delicious picnic lunch and a special treat. After that the fun continues with the chance to meet and dance with Ted the Bear!”

Further dates and themes are as follows -

Teddy Bears’ Picnic – Sunday 28 May

Mad Hatter’s Tea Party – Sunday 16 July

Halloween Pirate Take Over – Sunday 29 October

Supper with Santa – Sunday 17 December

There will be two sessions available on each date; the Lunch Session from 12pm-2pm, with one hour in the Adventure Cove from 2pm-3pm, or the Supper Session from 4pm-6pm, with one hour in the Adventure Cove from 3pm-4pm.
