Tourist Information Centre
Destination Bristol manage, run and deliver the city’s Tourist Information Centre (TIC) which is located on the Harbourside in the city centre. The TIC welcomes everyone to the city - local residents, students, UK and international visitors.
We provide information about the city to help visitors plan and make the most of their visit including information on special events, attraction leaflets, visitor guides and free city centre maps.
Destination Bristol members can benefit by displaying leaflets, posters and selling tickets through the TIC. Find out more about membership here. We are also commited to selling products from local suppliers.
As well as information the TIC also provides all the following services and goods;
Gifts, Books and Souvenirs
We sell a wide variety of gifts and souvenirs (Bristol, London and UK) – calendars, coasters, postcards, greetings cards, magnets, key rings, mugs, pens, pencils, notepads, notebooks. Plus a wide selection of books, including new local titles.
We are commited to support, promote and stock local suppliers, artists, photographers, products and produce. You can contact the TIC Manager to discuss the opportunity of selling your products in the TIC.

Stamps and Velopost
We sell UK stamps, international postcard and letter stamps.
The TIC is the first location to be able to buy Velopost stamps (50p each) to post cards and letters in local postcodes BS1-BS16 and we have a Velopost post box.
The TIC is an Access Point for Bristol Pounds, where you can exchange sterling for Bristol Pounds. You can also pay with Bristol Pounds (cash or text payment). Find out more about Bristol Pounds here.
We provide free city-centre maps as well as selling maps for Bristol London, Cardiff and Bath
Bus, Coach and Train Tickets, Maps and Timetables
We can provide bus and train timetables and local bus maps. We sell First Bus and Wessex Star bus tickets and also National Express tickets (along with Concessionary National Express coach cards). You can also buy tickets for the Airport Flyer shuttle service and Park and Ride Smart card top ups.

Accommodation Booking Service
We offer an accommodation booking service and help visitors to the city find accommodation. We charge a £3.00 booking fee and take a 10% non-refundable deposit.
