Bristol University's brightest musical talent returns to St George's for its annual concert: outstanding works by Lithuanian composer Vaclovas Augustinas, Kenneth Leighton's remarkable icon (the climax of the austere masterpiece Crucifixus pro nobis), Schumann's lovely choral-orchestral miniature Nachtlied and Bach's justly celebrated Magnificat framing premières by the winners of the Society's prestigious choir and concerto competitions.
