On your first visit to Bocabar, you'll feel like you’ve walked into a fairy-lit, food and drink lounge heaven!

Inside the gorgeous redbrick warehouse building, the creative Paintworks spirit has been complemented with vintage tasselled lampshades, an ever growing collection of unique and interesting artefacts and comfy Chesterfield sofas and chairs. Artwork from local artists, which can be purchased, also adorns the walls.

The creative kitchen, overseen by head chef, Jason McNeilly, delivers locally-sourced and seasonal ingredient based breakfasts, lunchtime specials, Sunday roasts and their renowned delicious, gourmet, stone-baked Boca pizzas. The deli counter is filled daily, with a variety of freshly made savoury pasties, scotch eggs, antipasti, wholesome salads and delicious cakes and desserts.

At the heart of Bocabar is the fabulous ten-metre long bar, displaying a selection of local draught beers and ciders, spirits, wines and refreshing soft drinks; the cocktail list is extensive and features monthly specials that are lovingly created.

They love to support the community and host regular art exhibitions which run every six weeks, often launched with a private view, when you can enjoy a complementary glass of wine and nibbles, and meet the artists so look out for details on their website.

Co-owners, Mel and Paul, and the Bocabar team, hope that all your senses are indulged when you visit Bocabar and that when you leave you’re all the better for being somewhere fresh, vibrant and unique, and you can’t wait to return.

Dogs are welcome on the terrace but cannot enter the main restaurant and bar area.
