Bordeaux Quay is a unique Harbourside venue in Bristol, which comprises an eco restaurant, brasserie, bar, deli, bakery and cookery school, all under one roof. Housed in an elegant, converted warehouse on the waterfront, Bordeaux Quay offers the very best in seasonal, regionally sourced food and drink.

Bordeaux Quay is the UK’s first eco restaurant to achieve a gold rating under the Soil Association's sustainable catering scheme. The Food For Life Catering Mark, developed by the Soil Association and backed by Prince Charles, is the first to guarantee customers get a sustainable meal, with standards governing things such as food additives, animal welfare and the seasonality of the produce chefs use.

And in November 2011, the restaurant became the first Bristol restaurant to receive the highest possible national award for its all round sustainability, when it was one of only 19 restaurants in the UK to be recognised as a Three Star Sustainability Champion by the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA).

The Restaurant

The Restaurant is situated on the first floor with fantastic views of the harbour. It is both spacious and elegant and lends itself to intimate meals for two, business lunches and even large scale events.  The food is sophisticated, but firmly rooted in the traditions of European Provincial cooking. The extensive wine list includes many wines available by the glass and carafe. The wine bar area is perfect for a pre or post dinner drink with a range of delicious classic and contemporary cocktails.

Private dining facilities, wine tastings and event catering are also part of the restaurant experience.

The Brasserie

The Brasserie is located on the ground floor of Bordeaux Quay in a large light-filled space that opens out onto an outside dining area on the water's edge. It has a relaxed, casual atmosphere serving first-class café style food throughout the day. It opens on weekday mornings from 8am and serves traditional breakfasts on the weekends.

Bordeaux Quay welcomes children of all ages to the Brasserie. Child sized portions are selected from the daily Brasserie menu and are priced at £5 a dish.  The Brasserie is breastfeeding friendly.
