The Prince Street Social is a modern British city centre Brasserie, open early in the morning for Breakfast and Brunch, then continuing throughout the day for lunch, dinner & late night drinks. Their ethos is to provide honest, top quality food in a relaxed casual environment. They have focused a lot of effort on the service, to make sure you are being looked after, whilst upholding that natural friendly feel, so that it feels like you are talking to a person rather than a robot and with table service throughout, it means you don’t have to lift a finger. It has the feel of downtown Manhattan, whilst still being relaxed. Boasting large tables, super-fast Wi-Fi, USB charging points & plenty of natural light, it’s the perfect space to spread out plans or have a business meeting, then to unwind in the evening with drinks.
Sundays are for complete relaxation and comforting roasts, seasonal trimmings, house made condiments and top quality butchered meats with an emphasis on local provenance & depth of flavour, which means that your Sundays with The Prince Street Social are in the safest of hands.
Head chef Desmond and his team are no strangers to each other having worked at The Cowshed, Homeward Park & Duncan Bannatyne’s Charlton House. Having plied his trade from a young age in a Michelin starred kitchen and managed to get his own restaurant in to the top 100 in Britain, Des and his team have a wealth of experience to offer you the best dining experience.
Their lovely front of house team has been carefully picked specifically for their interest in good food and drink, this enables them to chat passionately about their offering. If you are just in for drinks then they can start your day with a cup of delicious single origin coffee from artisan roasters Clifton Coffee. Following in to the afternoon and evening, they have a considered wine list, featuring some top end wines by the glass and some very well priced wines by the bottle.
They are also extremely proud of their original cocktail offering, which has a little something for everyone, whether it’s their ‘Bronson’ a punchy & boozy concoction of Ardbeg single malt whisky, Yellow Chartreuse and Antica Formula vermouth stirred down with chocolate bitters or the delightfully fresh mix of Sloe gin, blueberries, basil, vanilla syrup & soda, there really is a cocktail for everyone. Their decadent espresso martini is one you particularly need to try!
Situated opposite The Bristol Hotel, they are a stone’s throw from the theatres and main shopping district, so whether it is a pre theatre bite to eat, a much needed cocktail after your retail therapy or a get together with friends, The Prince Street Social is the perfect way to unwind.
