The Battleaxes
A characterful Grade 2 listed building nestled on the outskirts of Wraxall in Somerset, serving great pub food freshly made everyday. Just 10 minutes from Bristol, The Battleaxes is open from 10am for breakfast and coffee, so if you are off to Tyntesfield it’s the perfect place to start your day. We then serve all day through till 10pm. On Sundays we serve proper locally sourced roasts.
During the day our bar menu along with daily specials are served, as you head into the evening then out a la carte becomes available for those choosing to dine in the Club Room.
The a la carte menu changes regularly to ensure only the best local and seasonal food is served.
As the pub is easily reached from the A38, A370 and M5, it is a great place to stop for a bite to eat and a rest if needed.
