  Think wood roast, not roast this Sunday

  Relax, reach for the Sunday papers and let the Lido take the strain out of your weekend. Catch the afternoon sun and a glimpse of the swimmers from the floor to ceiling windows in the first floor Lido restaurant. Our fantastic value set lunch, £15 for two courses and £20 for three, is available from midday to 3pm.

  Start off with wood roast scallops, garlic butter, sweet herbs or crispy pumpkin, goat's curd, honey, oregano; follow with wood roast hake, caldo verde or a more traditional cut of pork or beef, again finished in the wood oven. Finish with a cheese board; a slice of delicious tart or some fabulous Lido ice-cream; a full a la carte menu is also available.

• Christmas at Lido

  Where better way to celebrate this season?

  Watch the swimmers plough up and down as you work up your own appetite in the first floor restaurant.

  Menus for groups are available at £35 per person, book your event to take place before 10th December and we will even let you come back for a free swim in the New Year.

  New Year's Eve tickets are still available at £49.50; 4 course dinner and a glass of fizz on arrival.

• Swim and Breakfast - £20

  The outdoor pool really comes into its own on a clear and crisp morning.

  Take a dip in the solar-heated pool and don't forget to make full use of the steam room and sauna.

  You'll deserve your 2 course breakfast; choose from Turkish poached eggs; wood fired kipper or a walnut, pistachio and rosewater pancake. Extract coffee or Lahloo tea and a range of freshly squeezed juices will set you up perfectly for the day.
