This fun event promotes cycling as the more environmentally friendly and healthier alternative to the car. Choose from a choice of five routes through Bristol and North Somerset.
This year's Biggest Bike Ride will take place on Sunday 22nd June, setting off from Millenium Square with the end of ride event at Greville Smyth Park.
Now in its 15th year, the council-run Bristol’s Biggest Bike Ride is increasingly popular and provides a great chance for people of all ages and abilities to cycle on a traffic-free Portway, as well as venture into the beautiful countryside beyond. With a choice of routes ranging from 9 to 38 miles, there is something for everyone. It ’s a great event to take part in as a family and any children under 14 taking part must be accompanied by an adult.
The five routes are:
1. Family Fiesta (about 9 Miles)
2. Avon Gorge Loop (13miles), both sponsored by Hartnell Taylor Cook
3. Failand Height (18 miles)
4. Sustrans’ Ride to Portishead (24 miles)
5. Clevedon Challenge (38 miles).
