The Bristol Ferry Boat Company

Harbour ferry services are operated all year round by The Bristol Ferry Boat Company.

The company also operates an early morning and late afternoon commuter ferry service from Temple Meads Station and Hotwells to the city centre, calling at other landing stages by request.

Timetables are displayed at the landing stages around the Harbour.

Cross-Harbour Ferry

There is also a cross-harbour ferry from Brunel's ss Great Britain to Capricorn Quay on Hotwells Road. The journey costs 50p and bicycles are accepted for no extra charge.

April to October
Monday to Friday 8am- 9.30am and 11.15am to 6.15pm
Saturday and Sunday, 10.30am - 5.30pm

November to March
Monday to Friday 8am- 9.30am and 4.15pm to 6.15pm
Saturday and Sunday, 10.30am - 4.30pm
