Harbourside > Harbourside Travel > Arriving on Foot
The Harbourside is easy to walk to from most parts of the city centre. All of the main Harbourside attractions are well sign-posted.
To get to Harbourside from other parts of the city centre follow finger posts and map panels to the Centre Promenade and then to the Harbourside.
A pedestrian map of the city centre is available from Visit Bristol and from most city centre hotels or Tourist Information Centres.
The Brunel Mile is a pedestrian route that links the harbourside with Temple Quay. Along the route a specially commissioned series of contemporary panels will provide information and images reflecting Brunel's contribution to the city. Travellers leaving Temple Meads to go to Temple Quay will see the first panel - an 8 foot monolith which celebrates Brunel's creative plans for the station, the first purpose-built railway terminus in the world.
