Bristol is well known for the quality and choice of restaurants, cafes, and bars. We have award-winning restaurants and whatever time of day, there are great places to enjoy dining out.
And you'll love our great ideas for weekend brunches and Sunday lunches or relax with an afternoon tea.
One of Bristol's favourite open spaces has been shortlisted in a competition to find the UK's number one picnic spot. The competition, which is being run by Warburtons in support of National Bread Week, aims to find the best place for our most beloved type of outdoor dining; the quintessentially British picnic. The Clifton Downs with views over the Avon Gorge and Clifton Suspension Bridge has been chosen as the city's favourite place. Cast your vote for Bristol on the competition website - www.welovebread.co.uk
If you're looking for international cuisine, you'll find restaurants serving flavours from around the world. Search food by type to help you choose from English, European, American and Caribbean or Indian and Lebanese restaurants.
We take food seriously in Bristol, and there are food and drink events throughout the year, including the Soil Association's Organic Food Festival held every September; it's Europe's largest celebration of its kind. If you want to buy some tasty organic local produce then check out the Farmers Market and Slow Food Market on Corn Street.
Enjoy the sun with alfresco dining, or after dark, head for Bristol's bars and clubs. Enjoy a glass of bubbly with friends in a bar along the harbourside, or party the night away in a club.
Superb quality food in a relaxed waterside location....
