Bristol is a gay-friendly city. You'll find plenty of gay and lesbian bars, clubs and club nights here, and a vibrant gay scene.
Frogmore Street
Frogmore Street is next to Bristol city centre, where you'll find a variety of gay bars and clubs.
On the weekend head to Q/-, the Queen Shilling, Bristol's longest established gay venue which attracts a mixed crowd and was voted the best gay venue in Wales and the West last year. Vibes nightclub plays house and cheesy pop
Try The Pineapple, a great pre-club gay bar, which also organises an annual street party every August.
There's also The Griffin, a small, traditional gay bar serving a broad cross section of the gay community, and just across the road is Clone Zone shop.
Watershed is a gay-friendly venue on the harbourside.
Old Market
Old Market is Bristol's own 'gay village', where you'll find Club 46 alongside the Old Market Tavern and The Old Castle Green which both attract a mixed gay-friendly crowd. New venues include Bar Orchid,a stylish and spacious gay venue open 7 days a week and Prague, a new cafe and wine bar.
