Home / Lark Rise Band
Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span and The Albion Band's Ashley Hutchings, who wrote and arranged music for the two National Theatre productions of Flora Thompson's Lark Rise to Candleford, now adapted into an acclaimed BBC television series with Dawn French, presents a new show with his specially formed Lark Rise Band. Joining Ashley on bass, spoken word and vocals are Judy Dunlop (vocals, spoken word); Ruth Angell (vocals and fiddle), Simon Care (squeezeboxes) and Guy Fletcher (vocals and guitar) in a musical and literary evocation of this delightful classic of English rural life in the 1880s
