If you are wondering what to with the children this Easter holiday then the Fleet Air Arm Museum may have the answer.
Every day throughout the Easter period there will be a variety of special activities for you and your family to enjoy, from daily Easter Egg Trails where children who complete the trail will be awarded a cream egg, to Family Activity Egg Drops where you and your family will design and build your own parachute for an egg. You'll then be challenged to drop it from the six metre high landing stage alongside Concorde and hope the egg doesn't break!
Concorde egg parachute drops will take place at 14.00hrs and finish at approximately 15.30 hrs on April 7 -11 and 14 - 18.
When not involved with the events around the Museum visitors will have the opportunity of going on-board Concorde and being transported by a simulated helicopter flight to the replica flight deck of the aircraft carrier HMS ARK ROYAL. A combination of two enormous projection screens coupled with a real Phantom aircraft put you in the heart of the action as powerful jet fighters take off and land around you. You'll experience the thrills and sounds of a working flight deck and even see a nuclear bomb!
The Fleet Air Arm Museum in Yeovilton is Europe's largest Naval aviation Museum.
