Celebrate the start of the school holidays and join in with free games on Bristol Zoo Gardens' west lawn.
From Saturday, July 26 until Friday, August 1, the Zoo will be running fun, free parachute games. There will be several sessions each day and everyone can join in the fun. The games will provide a wonderful opportunity for young children to have oodles of fun together in an exciting but safe, group activity.
Parachute play is a great opportunity for groups of youngsters to learn how to work with others; co-operation is the name of the game. The activities provide a multitude of opportunities for developing important social skills, such as sharing, taking turns and helping others to have fun.
Many of the games are quite specific in the way in which the parachute is controlled so players develop physical co-ordination, body management and control skills - a perfect outlet for your little one's holiday energy!
So come along and soak up the sun at Bristol Zoo Gardens this Summer!
The parachute games are run by experienced organisation the Children's World Charity http://www.childrensworldcharity.org and are free with entry to Bristol Zoo. Suitable for ages three and above.
