The UK's first Surf Show comes to Bristol

 

Surf ShowDip inside the Surf Show, check out the latest clothes and surf kit, take part in workshops and improve your surfing. Watch top surf vids back to back in a professional cinema and hang out. Be part of the scene and enjoy the ride!

Open to the public - come and check out the latest kit, clothes, cool surf stuff and beach wear for this summer. The most anticipated British & Irish Surf Film about perfect waves, epic sessions, incredible surfing, and all at home! This much anticipated film features the UK's hottest surfers Oli Adams, Micah Lester, Alan Stokes, Llewellyn Whittaker, Mark Harris, Sam Laimroy and others.

 

Lightning Strikes' by Ripcurl
Recently released. A documentary on the rise of Mick Fanning, an Australian surfer, from super grom to ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals) World Champion in 2007. From high-energy competition to electric freesurfing from Mick and his sparring partners Dean Morrison and Joel Parkinson.

 

'Driven' by Mr B productions
'Driven' is the story of two experienced surfers coming together as a 'tow surfing' team to surf the biggest waves they can off West Ireland. Follow Andrew Cotton, from Croyde in North Devon & Alastair Mennie from Northern Ireland through all their highs & lows. It's a British classic!

Learn how to improve your surfing by attending a workshop.

 

1) 'Yoga for Surfers' by Adventure Yogi
Take part in a 1 hr yoga routine specifically for surfing. Whether you're a complete beginner or pro, yoga can help you maximise your surfing.

2) 'The Art of Ding Repair' by Woody
A fundamental skill for any surfer, there is always a need to learn how to fix those dings in your board!

3) 'Surf Photography' by Ben Selway, Photo Editor and photographer of Wavelength magazine
Come and learn how to improve your water shots and get an insight into becoming a pro photographer!

4) 'The Shapers Bay' by Luke Young Shapes
Come and learn the secrets behind the science of board shaping. Find out how a surfboard is shaped, the tools and techniques used and what shape and size board is perfect for you!

5) Surf Forecasting
From buoy readings to swell generation, wind and wave patterns, you'll learn how to forecast the next surf at a beach near you.
