DAD BONDING ACTIVITIES IN BRISTOL

Forget about socks and ties, give your Dad something different this Father's Day. Destination Bristol, the tourism partnership for Bristol and South Gloucestershire have come up with some alternative ideas for spoiling your Dad.
Enjoy a Landrover Safari at WWT Slimbridge and if visiting on 17th June, your dad will receive free admission when accompanied by a paying child.
If you are wondering how to say thanks to the 'Best Dad in the World' then consider the Fleet Air Arm Museum for a day out he'll really love. Not only will all Dads be admitted at half price when accompanied by their full paying family, they will also be given a free bottle of Budweiser or a soft drink of their choice when they buy a meal.
From planes to trains - why not treat your Dad to a delicious three course meal in the first class dining carriages at Avon Valley Railway or as a special gift let him have the chance to learn how to drive a steam train himself .
For those sporting enthusiasts - take part in the Dads v Kids Action Tournament at Action Indoor Sports or watch the 3rd day of Gloucestershire's LVCC match against local rivals Somerset, and enjoy a special 2 course Roast Beef Dinner - all Dad's booked will receive a free glass of wine or pint of pedigree!
Get hands-on with a family fun day at St George's, enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of creativity, featuring music workshops, instrument-making and other activities, plus theatrical performances by the fantastic Storytellers' Theatre Company.
Is your Dad is a wildlife lover? Adopt a tree at Westonbirt Arboretum or an animal at Bristol Zoo Gardens, Horse World or Noah's Ark Zoo Farm.
For adventure seekers why not take part in some exhilarating outdoor activities with the Adventurous Activity Company - have a go at abseiling, mountain biking or caving? Alternatively how about vouchers for a drivers training course in skid control or off-road driving at the Castle Combe Skid Pan and Kart Track. For something he'll never forget...a hot air balloon ride could also be the answer!
