Action Indoor Sports

Exclusively designed for small sided versions of mainstream ball sports, Action Indoor Sports are played in netted Action Cells.

Small teams play at a very fast pace and the games are designed so that anyone from 7 to 70 years old can play.

You don't have to be hyper fit - regular substitutions are a feature if Action Indoor Sports - where some teams revolve their members so that they only play for short periods at a time. So whether you want to play with a group of mates or want to have league Action, you are guaranteed to have fun and get healthy at the same time.

Action Indoor Sports combine fun, fitness and competition and its simplicity allows people of all ages to play - men and women, younng and old, experts, and novices, mixed teams and local communities.

Our unique grading system means that teams of different abilities can compete against each other, and have awesome fun! And what's more.... everyone can win!

Action Indoor Sports Whitchurch will host Action Indoor Cricket, Action indoor Soccer, Action Indoor Netball and Action Indoor Sandball, as well as offering badminton, bowls and fitness training.

Road Directions

Directions from M5 to BS14 0XA

Take junction 19 off the M5 and bear left and take the 2nd exit. Turn left onto A369 for approximately 9.45 miles. Continue straight ahead onto A3029 for 0.21 miles (0.34km). At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Winterstoke Road (A3029) continue down Winterstoke Road for approx 0.29 miles (0.39km). Turn left onto Bedminster Down Road (A38) for 0.07 miles (0.11km), bear right onto A4174 for 1.52 miles (2.45km). At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit for 0.12 miles (0.19km) bear left onto Whitchurch Lane for 0.12 miles (0.19km). At the roundabout, take the first exit continuing on Whitchurch Lane for 0.66 miles (1.06km). Turn left into Bamfield and Action Indoor Sports is on the left hand side.

Public Transport Directions

Take bus numbers 20, 21, 22 and 23 or 50, 51 from the Marlborough Bus Station or Broadmead near House of Fraser. Stay on the bus until Whitchurch. At Co-op Whitchurch walk across road 200m on left hand of Bamfield.

Temple Meads Train Station catch a taxi, or make the 10 minute walk to Broadmead. Taxi approximately £17.00

From Bristol International Airport, take a taxi - approximately £18.00 or drive down the A38 until you reach a mini roundabout (several miles) where you take the 3rd exit into Kings Head Lane. Follow the road down and at the T junction turn right and after 300m take the 1st exit at the mini roundabout. Follow the road past Cabot Industrial Estate onto the dual carriageway. Take the 3rd exit on the Hartcliffe roundabout onto Whitchurch Lane, then after half a mile turn left into Bamfield and Action Indoor Sports can be found on the left.
