Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory
The Tempest
Following its 2009 Roman season – a third near sell-out year in a row – Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory Theatre returns for its 11th spring season with two of Shakespeare’s most magical plays. A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Tempest.
"It is always exciting to couple plays that illuminate each other. A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Tempest arch over almost all of Shakespeare’s career, the late play revisiting, in a darker mood, magical elements used so effectively in the early comedy." Andrew Hilton, SATTF Artistic Director.
