Haynes International Motor Museum

The prestigious Haynes International Motor Museum, at Sparkford in Somerset is the UK's largest exhibition of the greatest cars from around the world. A living and working museum, with over 340 amazing cars and bikes from nostalgic classics of the 50s and 60s, glorious Bentleys and Rolls Royces to exciting super cars of today, like the Jaguar XJ220.

You can discover the world famous Red Room, 11 huge display halls and one of the UK's largest speedway collections.

For the kids there's a themed adventure playground, activity room, soft play fun bus and activity packs. You can discover the workings of an engine with the cut away car chassis, and operate the interactive displays such as the Ghostbuster style ambulance with lights and sounds.

Experience the outdoor military vehicle collection, relax in the cinema of motoring and even get your souvenir photo taken in Michael Schumacher's F1 show car (additional charge applies).

Browse the extensive Museum Motoring Shop with its leading range of souvenirs, models, DVD's, books, official Formula 1 team clothing and manufacturers' merchandise from Ferrari to MG.

Road Directions

The Museum is located at Sparkford near Yeovil, just off the A303 and 30 minutes from junction 25 of the M5. High profile brown tourist signs from all major trunk roads provide easy to follow directions to the Museum. A 50-minute drive from Bristol.

Public Transport Directions

The main line station at Castle Cary is 5 miles from the Museum, with its high speed link between Paddington and Penzance. The line also serves a regular daily route between Bristol and Weymouth with regular stops at Yeovil.
