St Nicholas Markets Shopping Bristol

St Nicholas Market is a great place to shop all the year round. The choice of goods, food, its historical architecture and quirky ambience combine to make it the perfect place to shop, eat and find that special gift.

The market is divided into four independent areas with their own character and focus: the permanent 6 day markets in the Exchange Hall, the Glass Arcade and the Covered Market, and a variety of different street markets trading on Corn Street.

The Exchange Hall contains a variety of stalls selling clothes, candles, fossils, fair trade products, cards, stained glass and Bristol memorabilia.

The Glass Arcade has won a reputation for the quality of its food outlets and cafes specialising in world cuisine. In 2005 it was a Metro newspaper Food and Drinks Award winner. Other stalls include gifts, fair trade products, flowers and fabrics.

The Covered Market is a real Aladdin's Cave of delights with an eclectic selection ranging from books, games, craft, wedding accessories to traditional sweets, mobile phones, pets supplies, ethnic clothing and a resident tattooist.
