Master of the Baroque concerto, Antonio Vivaldi features heavily in this all-Italian programme from The English Concert. Influential, inspired and inspiring, The Red Priest provides a jumping off point for this joyous Italian journey that includes works by Sammartini and rarities by Milanese violinist/composers Scaccia and Brioschi.
Dazzling violinist and conductor Fabio Biondi, one of the most exciting figures in the Baroque movement today, brings his spontaneous and passionate approach to bear on music that continues to find new audiences.
