Bristol gears up for spectacular Motor Show

As we celebrate Father’s Day this coming weekend why not treat him to a show of the sleekest cars and newest models from many of the world’s best known car manufacturers. Bristol Motor Show

Cabot Circus, Broadmead and The Mall Bristol will provide the perfect stage for the first ever ‘Bristol City Centre Motor Show’, creating a ‘unique showroom’ with a wide selection of local car dealers located in amongst a fantastic range of retail outlets.

In addition there will be a whole host of family-friendly entertainment to enhance the whole city centre experience.

In partnership with the Bristol Evening Post, the show, which is completely free, will take place from Friday 19th until Sunday 21st June. Local dealerships will be displaying more than 60 cars from over 12 manufacturers capturing the attention of the budding enthusiast to the everyday motorist.

Some of the dealers include: Williams Mazda, Bristol Audi, Berkeley Vale Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Brunel Ford, Hartwell Jaguar, Bristol Seat, Bristol Skoda, Robins and Day, Peugeot and Lexus.

Motoring website Motors.co.uk will also be bringing its super Big Blue Wheel to event along with a special guest - a Lewis Hamilton lookalike, who will pose for photographs with fans all inside The Mall Bristol.

Cabot Circus centre director, Richard Belt, said: “We’re delighted to be involved with the Bristol City Centre Motor Show, which will provide a great day out for all ages right in the heart of Bristol.

“Cabot Circus and Quakers Friars will provide a stylish and spectacular backdrop for the huge range of cars on display, including all the latest models. Whether you’re after glamour, luxury or practicality, both the show and the location will provide automotive and retail heaven, with something for every taste and budget.”

The Mall Bristol marketing manager, Simon Dix, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming all motoring enthusiasts to Bristol’s shopping centre for what promises to be an exciting event. Alongside the fantastic range of vehicles, The Mall Bristol offers shoppers a range of excellent stores to enjoy and I am sure the day will be a huge success for all those involved.”

Representing Bristol News & Media the Motors advertising manager, Jackie Pickering, said: “It has been a couple of years since we ran a motor show and were therefore very excited about the possibility of a Bristol Motor Show here in the City centre. Motor dealers have been very positive about this great opportunity to show case their cars, given the number of local dealers already attending we envisage this being a great success and hope that this will become an annual event.”
