Bat Patrols

Bat flying out treetops

Cheddar Caves are home to many of Britain's endangered bats and Jon Hill, the Conservation Officer, invites you to join him on his Bat Patrol to discover how these remarkable little animals manage to survive.

Meet him outside Gough's Cave on Monday nights from 2 June to 18 August (start depending on sunset, at 7.30pm, 8.00pm or 8.30pm) for an illustrated one hour introductory talk followed by an hour and a half Bat Patrol using ultra-sonic bat detectors.

Maximum of 20 on each patrol. Wear warm, weatherproof clothing and walking shoes.
