Bristol’s popular International Festival of Kites & Air Creations will take Ashton Court by storm.
The Festival is one of the region’s most distinctive and colourful public events, attracting spectators and enthusiasts of all ages and kite flyers from around the world. As well as a fantastic kite extravaganza the event provides the UK’s only showcase for designers, operators and manufacturers of inflatables, play structures and air sculptures.
The Festival features spectacular flying displays, aerial battles, breathtaking choreographed routines and awesome power kites as well as colourful examples of kites, banners and inflatables of all shapes and sizes.

Car parking available for a fee. Disabled parking available. Access for all vehicles to the festival site is via Beggarbush Lane, Longwood Lane. All other gates/roads through the Estate will be closed
By Car Avoiding City Centre:
Take the M5 South, and exit at junction 19 (Gordano Services).
From the motorway, join the A369 towards Bristol.
Stay on the A369 for approximately 4 miles.
After passing through the village of Abbots Leigh you will come to a set of traffic lights.
Turn right at these lights on the B3129.
This road runs alongside the site and you will then pick up AA/RAC signs for the Festival.
By Car from City Centre:
Follow signs for A370 Weston Super Mare, you will then pick up AA/RAC signs from South Bristol to bring you to the Site
Buses - 8 or 8a to Clifton Village and then walk across the Suspension Bridge (which IS open). From town 358, 359 (659 on Sunday) stop at the Clifton Lodge entrance to Ashton Court. They run every 30 minutes or so.
