Mark Watson

Mark Watson/Colston Hall interior

A former Cambridge Footlighter, Mark Watson first made an impact on the comedy circuit in 2002 when he won the Daily Telegraph Open Mic competition and was a runner-up in So You Think You're Funny?

He has become known for his Edinburgh shows (2005's 50 Years Before Death And The Awful Prospect Of Eternity was nominated for the Perrier) and his gruelling shows that last more than 24 hours. Perrier's successor, the if.comeddies, awarded the panel award for best capturing the spirit of the fringe, in 2007.

PARKING
We recommend parking in the Trenchard Street multi-storey car park, situated to the rear of the hall. Parking is payable at the pay-machines either on entrance (before leaving the car park for Colston Hall) or exit. You may find it easier to pay for your ticket before the show to avoid queuing on the way home. Easiest access to Colston Hall can be found on floor one of the car park. Please be aware that Trenchard Street Car Park now closes at midnight.

Most buses to the city centre stop at the promenade, where we recommend you alight for the Colston Hall. We are situated on Colston Street, behind the Colston Tower.
