In 1914 when the Army came to town they wanted just one thing – you! By 1918, millions of new recruits had left their homes and families and never returned. Ninety years later, a battalion of actors and musicians tell their story.
A cast of colourful characters swap hats, helmets and sides to give a vibrant and touching account of the four years that shaped the twentieth century. Prepare to take your seats for an often moving exposé of an unforgettable moment in history.

The Tobacco Factory is situated in Southville, South Bristol, on the junction between Raleigh Road and North Street. It is approximately a 25 minute walk from the city centre.
Getting to the Tobacco Factory by bus
Take bus number 24 or 25 from north Bristol, Broadmead, the city centre and Redcliffe Hill to Raleigh Road (bus stop opposite the Tobacco Factory)
