The SunWalk

The SunWalk is organised by Walk the Walk and is a perfect active day out for all the family, with a group warm-up before setting off on the walk, live music and a real carnival atmosphere! SunWalks are unique events as not only do all the participants Power Walk their chosen distance (5k, 10k of a half-marathon), but they all wear decorated bras to raise awareness for breast cancer.

The SunWalk is open to walkers of any age from 0-100+ depending on which challenge you choose! The 5k is open to all including the youngest of participants, with limited space available for buggies. Start collecting those medals early! The 10k challenge has a minimum age limit of 6 years, whilst those wanting to take on the half-marathon must be aged 13 years or over. There are no upper age limits on any distance!
