To celebrate World Egg Day Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm will be hosting an array of events during Saturday 11th October.
Events such as egg and spoon races, egg painting, musical eggs and egg bowling will be happening throughout the day. In addition to all this there will be keeper talks and educational sessions introducing the different types of egg laying animals on the zoo from snakes to ostriches to chickens!
For centuries, eggs have played a major role in feeding families around the globe. World Egg Day provides a unique opportunity to help raise awareness of the benefits of eggs and is celebrated in countries all around the world.
Visitors will also be able to meet the newest addition to Noah’s Ark, Bertie the Barn Owl. Berty, who weights just 10 ounces. He will eventually join the European Eagle owl in the daily birds of prey display
Minutes from the M5 junction 19 or 20, Brown signs from each exit. Noah's Ark Zoo Farm is found on the B3128 road joining Bristol and Clevedon. Free parking.
The X7 from Bristol Bus Station to Clevedon and back, stops by request at the Noah's Ark Zoo Farm gate every hour.
