Butcombe Farm Bed and Breakfast

Fourteenth Century Farmhouse sympathetically converted to provide fully equipped self catering cottages and en suite bed and breakfast rooms. The house and farm buildings have been furnished to high standards and combine modern facilities with original features, such as stonework and oak beams.

Activities on site include clay pigeon shooting by arrangement. Nearby horse riding, dry slope skiing and snow boarding, archery, orienteering, rock climbing, caving, golf and more are available.

Nestled in tranquil countryside at the foot of the Mendip hills, we are close to Bath, Bristol, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury, Weston-Super-Mare, Quantock Hills, and Exmoor.

Road Directions

From M5 J22 to A38 to Bristol, or from Bristol take A38 to Bridgwater, past airport. Take turn at Redhill near Alvis Dairy Farm, following signpost to Butcombe and Nempnett Thrubwell. Follow for approx. 1 mile to end of lane. Turn left, passing Aldwick Court and Butcombe Farm is 0.5 miles on left.
