Migrations 2009Migrations is a city-wide celebration of the musical and cultural riches created through the movements of people from one place to another. Organised by St George's Bristol, the event will take place throughout 2009 and will present music from around the world in a way that reflects different styles, nations and the governing context of globalisation. A packed schedule of live concerts and performances will transport audiences to all 4 corners of the globe, culminating in a lively and exciting day of celebration, with free admission for all ages. Watershed takes GoldThe Watershed Media Centre on Bristol's harbourside has been awarded the prestigious Gold Award in the 'Meet England / Business Tourism of the Year' category at the South West Tourism Excellence Awards. The award was given in recognition of the excellent Conference and Events facilities available at the media centre, and the high standard of service provided by the team.
