Home / Hotels and Accommodation / The Greenhouse
Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the older part of Southville, within walking distance of the centre of Bristol, the greenhouse offers an oasis of calm in an otherwise very busy city.
Bristol is the largest city of the West of England, boasting a lovely cathedral, the magnificent Brunel's ss Great Britain and the Matthew, both moored in the floating harbour within 3 minutes' walk of The Greenhouse. Local attractions within easy reach are: Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Longleat Safari Park, South and Mid-Wales and the coastline of North Somerset and North Devon.
This very comfortable establishment comprises of 4 available bedrooms, 1 single, 2 doubles and 1 twin. All offer a modern en suite shower room, tea and coffee-making facilities, TV and radio alarm. A cot is available for infants and an extra single bed is available. (rates on application).
Breakfast is taken in part of the large kitchen overlooking the garden at the rear of the property. Food preferences can be catered for, given notice.
The Greenhouse was completely modernised in 1998 giving the facade of a 19th C cottage with the interior of spacious 21st C proportions. The house was originally 2 cottages, one built in 1880 and the other in 1890. The immediate area has since been upgraded by all the owners giving a very typical Bristol suburb of colour washed houses.
Being in a cul-de-sac of only four houses, there is plenty of space for car parking in the road outside the house. This is a non-smoking establishment.
