Home / Hotels and Accommodation / The Hunters Rest
The Hunters Rest Inn was originally built in 1755 as a hunting lodge for the Earl of Warwick. The Earl picked his site perfectly: set high on Clutton Hill with commanding views in all directions.
Conveniently located for Bath, Bristol and Wells, this privately owned free-house is renowned for its homemade food, well-stocked cellar and warm welcome.
Furnished to the highest standards, our rooms include: a four-poster suite, antique furniture, stunning bathrooms, direct-dial telephones with modem points, colour TV and video and all have wonderful views.
