Ashton Court Visitor Centre

Visitors to Ashton Court Estate, one of Bristol’s best loved parks, can now enjoy the improved facilities at Ashton Court Visitor Centre.

The Ashton Court Visitor Centre, in the stable block of the mansion, provides information on the history of the estate, interpretation boards, trail maps and details of activities and events. Inside you’ll also find the Coach House Café, Stables Bistro, Courtyard Farm Shop and an exhibition space.

Ashton Court Visitor Centre has retained many of the 19th century period features of the original coach house, including a reinstated pitched-glass canopy in keeping with the original Victorian designs, and incorporated a modern, 21st century café, with staff facilities, toilets, separate disabled access toilet block and baby changing facilities.

The Coach House Café offers tea, coffee and a wide variety of hot and cold food and drink. Seating and tables are available both inside the Coach House Café itself and outside beneath a glass canopy in the old stables courtyard. The café is open from 10.00am until 5.00pm Monday to Sundays.

The Stables Bistro, a restaurant on the south east corner of the mansion, is open from 12pm to 3pm and 6pm to 9pm Wednesday to Friday. You can access the Stables Bistro from the stables courtyard, which is to be found right beside the Ashton Court Visitor Centre and very close to the mansion car park.

The Courtyard Farm Shop sells a mix of local organic and other produce, including organic vegetables, plus West Country cider, nuts, seeds, beans, flour, eggs, organic chocolate, ice cream and much more. The Courtyard Farm Shop is open from 10am to 5pm every day.
