Bristol Packet Boat Trips
Bristol Packet Boat Trips offer harbour tours with award winning commentaries. Bristol Packet also run boat trips upstream towards Bath and down, under the Clifton Suspension Bridge to Avonmouth.
Trips upstream include tea on the river, lunch trips to Hanham and day trips to Bath. The ever-popular afternoon trips to Beeses Tea Gardens begin for 2012 on Good Friday, 6th of April.
The Avon Gorge Cruise takes you downstream, and sails through the floating harbour into the Junction Lock where you will lock down onto the tidal part of the Avon. Enjoy spectacular views of the Gorge and Brunel’s Suspension Bridge as you pass underneath.
Bristol Packet run four boats - the famousTower Belle, Bagheera, Redshank and Flower of Bristol and each has a fully stocked bar providing hot and cold drinks.
Bristol Packet Boat Trips can carry private charters between 20 and 100 passengers, which are available all year. General public trips operate every weekend and daily during Bristol’s school holidays. The boats depart from Brunel’s ss Great Britain, city centre, Watershed Media Centre and Welsh Back (by Bristol Bridge).
