Clevedon Golf Club

Golf has been played on the current course at Clevedon for over 100 years. Set high above the banks of the Severn Estuary, the course enjoys spectacular views over the coastlines of Somerset, Devon and South Wales as well as both Severn Crossings.

Located only minutes away from Junction 20 of the M5 motorway, the course is easily accessible to motorists from both the M5 and M4 corridors. In fact we are only 30 miles away from the Celtic Manor Resort, home of the 2010 Ryder Cup. Golfers arriving by air will find us only 12 miles away from Bristol International Airport.

It is a mature parkland course that will pose a fair but interesting challenge to golfers of all abilities. The first few holes take you along the cliff edges before the first of our “drop” holes lead you down into the beautiful Gordano Valley. You then begin a gentle climb towards the end of the round to reach our signature 16th hole – The Castle. Take time to savour the views as you contemplate the tee shot to the fairway some 200 feet below.

Returning along the cliffs edge, you will find the atmosphere in our welcoming Our welcoming Clubhouse will provide the perfect atmosphere to relax after your game.

The golf course is open from 7.30 am to dusk during the summer and from 8.00 in the winter.
We are open 7 days a week, the only day we close is Christmas Day.
