Gay districts

Frogmore Street - Bristol Gay Central

Frogmore Street, just off Park Street, is buzzing with activity most nights of the week. Lively bars and nightclubs attract a mixed crowd looking for a great night out. Head to the QueenShilling - Bristol's longest established gay venue, or to OMG for pop-fuelled nights out.

Old Market - Bristol's Gay Village

Pubs and bars in the Old Market area include The Old Market Tavern, The Old Castle Green, and Bristol Bear Bar. The Old Market Assembly hosts regular LGBTQ+ club nights and theatre shows. The Phoenix hosts monthly LGBTQ+ friends night DTYM. Just a short walk from Old Market, you'll find more club nights at Lost Horizon and The Jam Jar.

Over in the Old City, you'll find Irish Pub and cabaret bar Seamus O'Donnells hosting a variety of drag shows, karaoke and show tune nights throughout the month. You can also find LGBTQ+ club and cabaret nights at Dareshack and Strange Brew.
