Leave the M5 at junction 18 (northbound) sign-posted Bristol, Avonmouth and Docks. Entering Avonmouth - Keep in left hand lane (signposted Bristol and Airport). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Portway - A4 (signposted Bristol). Continue forward onto Portway - A4. At traffic signals (signposted Clifton, The Downs) turn left onto Bridge Valley Road - A4176. After passing Bristol Zoo on the right, turn right onto Pembroke Road - B4467. Public Transport Directions
The nearest railway station is Bristol Temple Meads, from where the number 8 and 9 buses run a constant service to within 100 yards of the Academy. The number 9 stops in Queens Avenue, and the number 8 stops in Queens Road. If you are travelling by coach, the nearest drop off point is Bristol Bus Station, in Broadmead. Just across the roundabout (via the pedestrian subway) from the Bus Station, the number 1, 2, 8, 9, 41, 42, 43 buses stop outside Debenhams and run to Queens Road.
