The Village Pottery
On your visit to Clifton Village, don’t miss out on The Village Pottery in Princes Victoria Street. You will find a unique open studio, gallery and coffee bar run by the potter Jen Hamilton. This landmark pottery in Clifton Village is a great place to enjoy a cup of Fairtrade tea or coffee and a slice of homemade cake. You can watch Jen create her aesthetically pleasing functional pottery, and even have a go on the wheel yourself!
Jen undertakes commissions for personal use, gifts, or businesses, looking for that unique design to represent them. If it’s a personalized pot you’re after, or something more specific, come and chat to Jen - she’s always up for a challenge!
Keep an eye out for the Hershey Kiss inspired Candle Snuffers, Herbal Tea pots and Garlic Roasters. Jen has also created her very own range for Easter as well as a range of Brunel 200 pottery that would make great souvenirs of your visit to Bristol.
If you are keen to have a go at throwing your own pot on the wheel, Jen will be more then happy to arrange some lessons. All ages and abilities are welcome.
The relaxing intimate atmosphere is definitely worth that extra walk down Princes Victoria Street on your way to the Suspension Bridge.
