Troopers Hill is in St. George, east Bristol, between the A431 Air Balloon Road and Crews Hole Road. These roads are linked by Troopers Hill Road, from which there are four pedestrian entrances to the site. The lowest is close to the junction with Crews Hole Road and gives easy access to or from the river Avon Trail. The nearest entrance to Air Balloon Road is at the corner of Greendown.
You can also cross Troopers Hill Field from Summerhill Terrace and Malvern Road (best for wheelchair access) to reach the hill. The postcode for the Malvern Road entrance is BS5 8JA.
