Widbrook Grange, home of resident owners Jane and Peter Wragg, is an elegant 250 year old Georgian country house hotel peacefully located in 11 acres of grounds on the outskirts of the ancient town of Bradford-on-Avon.

Originally an Iron Age Settlement 2500 years ago, Bradford lies on the southern boarder of the Cotswolds, and is steeped in history. A walk around the town reveals for visitors wonderful examples of life in the Roman, Saxon, Norman, Mediaeval and Industrial Revolution times.

The hotel sits amidst rolling countryside yet is less than 20 minutes by train or car from the centre of the historic city of Bath and by car from Lord Bath's magnificent Longleat stately home. Stonehenge is about 40 minutes drive and the National Trust village of Lacock with its Medieval Abbey is 20 minutes away. Walks from the hotel lead to the Kennet and Avon canal with its picturesque narrow boats and on to the Saxon Tithe Barn and Church in Bradford on Avon.
